Hello everyone, i need some help on turbocharging bmw 328, i have some ideas but if i missed something please correct me. Engine: wiseco pistons, eagle rods, VAC Motorsport metal headgasket, resurface block (dont know the right name, mashine the block:dunno::rofl recondition cylinder head. new water pump, some good spark plugs+ wires, new bushings (tranny, engine)
Get some max pp rods for $300 and some rear camber arms/ adjustable lower control arms. Rear camber should be 0 rear toe in will help car straighten out and toe out will make it more squirrely i believe. Front camber for a street car should be negative 1-3 and for track only 2-4 too help prevent understeer.

A lot of car balance is personal preference and driving style more than a copy-paste solution to a "good" set up (take with a grain of salt, long time e36 owner but limited chassis tuning experience)
Good morning guys This is my e36. My grandfather bought it in 1998, when he stopped driving my mother has been using it and currently I am taking care of it as a weekend car. It's a 318IS e36, sport edition from 1998. The colour is Avusblau Metallic, and it has 122,000km -76000 miles on it.
Many of the driveline components are shared with the E36 325i, making for good availability. Don't be turned off by the long list of potential issues here with the E36 M3. It's a rewarding car
Cheap, readily available, with lots of aftermarket support does that for any car in rallying. At the end of the day, what are your goals? If it is to simply hang the ass-end out in a rallycar, you could do worse than a E36. If it is to become a good driver, that's a completely different goal.
The E36 is of course lighter, and will be friendlier to brakes and tires. The E46 M3 is also a good track car, but a bit more needy, and solidly more expensive to service. The interior build quality is unquestionably nicer than an E36, but if you're just looking for a track car, that shouldn't be much of a consideration.
